Ruha Solutions is one person: Aklil Belay, its founder and sole owner.
He designed and built AQLI and AQLI Kids, and Ruha Solutions owns and runs them: two apps in Tigrinya, Amharic and English, approved for Google Play, one made for children.
Every Tigrinya word the children's app shows was written or checked by a person, not translated by a machine.
aqli.app · a digital community center for Ethiopian and Eritrean families
Finding a doctor who speaks your language, a lawyer who will take your case, or a shop that stocks what you cook with is something most families do by asking someone they know. AQLI writes it down.
Its listings sit in five rooms: Businesses, Organizations, Events, Volunteer and Resources. Nobody pays to appear, and nothing is ranked by money. Every listing in AQLI's directory was checked by a named person.
Alongside them: a moderated community board, the Elder Center, learning, family connection by invitation, and Write in Ge'ez for people who read the script but cannot type it.
AQLI sells nothing, shows no advertising, and tracks nobody.
Accounts with sign-in by email. Account deletion that a person can carry out themselves. In Tigrinya, Amharic and English, including Ge'ez script handling that survives a browser's attempt to translate it. Moderation tools.
Approved for Google Play under a verified organization account.
kids.aqli.app · the fidel, for children
The fidel AQLI Kids teaches is thirty-four letters with seven forms each: two hundred and thirty-eight characters a child has to learn. Most of the material for teaching it is a photocopy of something older.
AQLI Kids teaches them one at a time, with drawings, the chant, tracing, and numbers written in Ge'ez numerals.
And a family's own voice. A parent or a grandparent records a letter, and the child hears it read in a voice they know.
Nothing. No accounts, no sign-in, and no server that holds anything about your child. Everything a child makes stays on the family's own device and is never sent anywhere.
There is no advertising, and there never will be.
In Tigrinya, Amharic and English. More than two hundred original drawings, drawn for this app.
Approved for Google Play under a verified organization account.
ruhasolutions.com
The site you are reading, the request form that brought your message to us, the queue it arrives in, and the knowledge base: all of it is ours.
Ten automated checks run on each change proposed to the live site, and a failure is marked on it. How that works is on the next page.
There are also free lessons for business owners — three published, with more being written — and a self-check that runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
Tell us what you have and what it needs to do. We will look at it, tell you what we find, and quote the work before anything starts.
