Email won't send. A new employee needs to be set up. Microsoft 365 isn't behaving. The Wi-Fi keeps dropping. We handle IT for small businesses that don't have an IT department.
Founder-led IT support, backed by senior service desk experience in a complex healthcare environment.
Every engagement starts as a ticket — a plain description of what's wrong, and a clear plan to fix it.
Ongoing remote helpdesk for your team — device troubleshooting, network and printer issues, account and access management. Billed hourly or as a monthly retainer.
New tenant setup, Entra ID identity & access management, Exchange email configuration, and security hardening — configured right the first time, not patched together.
Plain-language IT runbooks and SharePoint-based onboarding guides your team will actually open and use — built from years of writing training material that stuck.
Rolling out Microsoft Copilot or AI agents this year? Get access, guardrails, and governance set up correctly from day one — before it becomes a mess to untangle.
Windows, Mac, and iOS support under one roof, plus Mobile Device Management (MDM) setup so lost or stolen phones and laptops don't become data breaches.
Tell us what's going on — no jargon required. A phone call works just as well as a form.
We review your setup and give you a clear, fixed quote — no surprise hourly overruns.
We resolve the issue and leave you with documentation your team can actually follow.
Move to a monthly retainer whenever you want ongoing peace of mind instead of one-off fixes.
Most providers make you book a call to find out what they charge. Here are the numbers, what each plan covers, and — further down — exactly what it does not.
One-off work, no commitment. Billed in 15-minute increments after the first hour.
Prepaid at $130 an hour. Valid twelve months. Best if you need us occasionally but predictably.
Migrations, new office setup, documentation builds. Quoted in writing before anything starts.
One-off, on monthly plans. Covers discovery, documentation, access handover and fixing what we inherit.
Hidden exclusions are the most common complaint about this industry. Here are ours, in advance.
Not offered today. We support business hours, Monday to Friday. If you need overnight or weekend cover, we are not the right fit yet and we would rather say so now.
Quoted separately. Most issues are resolved remotely; when they are not, we agree the visit and the cost first.
You buy these directly from the vendor at their price. We help you choose and set them up — we do not mark them up.
Monthly plans cover ongoing support. Anything that is a defined piece of work with a start and an end is quoted on its own.
A note on fair use. Monthly plans assume a normal level of support. If a month runs well beyond that, we come to you with a conversation — a review of what is causing it, a different tier, or a project to fix the underlying problem. You will not receive a surprise invoice.
A note on compliance. Our Compliance plan produces HIPAA-aligned documentation and evidence. It does not make your organisation compliant and we do not certify compliance — that determination is yours and your advisers'. Whether these obligations apply to you depends on your industry and environment.
Senior Service Desk Analyst in a multi-hospital healthcare system — supporting Epic EHR alongside several hundred clinical, financial, and administrative applications, in an environment where downtime has consequences for patient care.
Promoted from Tier 1 on sustained performance, and converted from contract to permanent at the end of the engagement.
Enterprise service management — ServiceNow and Footprints ticketing, with triage and escalation documented well enough that the next tier doesn't have to start the conversation over.
Identity and security tooling — Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID administration; Rapid7 vulnerability scanning; CrowdStrike endpoint protection; least-privilege access review.
Networks and devices, hands-on — LAN and WAN configuration, 802.11 wireless with WPA2 and WPA3, SSID and router setup, network printer mapping, and remote desktop. Windows, Mac, and iOS.
Trained and mentored service desk analysts, and wrote the onboarding material adopted as the department's standard.
CompTIA A+ and Google IT certified.
Patience and clear explanations — you'll understand what happened and why, not just get a bill.
"I don't disappear once the invoice is sent. If something breaks again next month because of what I set up, that's on me to fix — not you to figure out."
The company is named after the founder's daughter, and built for both of his children — a reminder that the work done today is building something for the people who matter most.
Small businesses deserve the same care and clear explanation that hospital systems get. That belief is the whole reason this exists.
Read the full story →No. Starter work is pay-as-you-go, and projects are fixed-price quotes you approve before work begins. Retainers are month-to-month — if we're not earning it, you cancel.
Most issues resolve remotely through secure, one-time session links you approve each time. For Southern Maine businesses, on-site visits are available when hands-on work is genuinely needed.
Every ticket gets a reply within 2 business days — usually much faster. Retainer clients get priority. If something is truly on fire, say so in the ticket and it moves to the front.
You're exactly who this is for. Ruha Solutions exists for businesses too small to hire IT staff but too busy to keep fighting their own tech.
Every fix comes with a plain-language write-up: what broke, what we did, and how to avoid it next time. Many become guides in the Knowledge Base so your whole team benefits.
We never store client credentials without a documented agreement, every account uses multi-factor authentication, and every remote session requires your explicit approval. Coming from healthcare IT, we treat your data the way patient systems have to be treated: carefully.
Describe the problem in your own words — we'll reply within 2 business days with next steps. Prefer to chat? Tap the hourglass in the corner.
